Porfolio Descriptions

I wanted something new, this was it.

This took a bit of work, just to get things situated.

This also took a bit of work. I really wanted to make something different.

A quick attempt at a change.

This was a semi-complicated design, but only took me a few hours.

This was fairly fast.

She wanted something kind of professional. She changed the header, before I thought to take a screenshot. I'm personally not a fan of the changed version.

Something different. Tried out some new features.

I wanted this design to be focused on readability, with a wintery look. I increased the font size and used calming colors in addition to making things more accessible to the viewer.

I wanted this design to be bold and eye catching, as well as something a lot different from the previous.

She wanted to convert her site to Wordpress and increase it's functionality. Didn't take much time, quick and simple.

She wanted to turn this into a Wordpress driven site, also quick and simple.

I wanted to make something that made the best focus on the pictures. Took about half an hour.

I thought I would try something different.

The client wanted something original and readable, so I came up with this. We were both satisfied.

I wanted this design to be easy on the eyes, while still different than others you will see. The previous design for this site was very bright, so I toned this one down.

The client wanted something more professional looking than her previous designs. This was my first for divasnluv.com.

This is my first successful attempt at creating a fluid layout. It took a lot of extra coding, but I was able to get it to work successfully.

I got an urge to design a cork theme, and I ran with it. It took a LOT of work, but I've been getting pretty far with it.

I really wanted to try and make it soft, and pink was the requested main color. It was a complete site creation, including script installations.

I wanted something blue and bright, and went for it. I loved the way it turned out because I really tried to use different shades of blue all over.

It was a quick layout to make, but the site needed a change from the previous layout that was very bright red. So I went for very neutral colors.

I went for bright and inviting because it's basically a site for charity.

This design can in stages. I wanted to do add in different things that I hadn't tried before.

A fast design, only took 45 minutes.

Another one in stages, I tried to give the client what she wanted.

I love one column layouts, so this was just an attempt at one. It got featured in a few design galleries.

It was one of my attempts at a dark layout. Another that got featured in a few design galleries.

It was my first real attempt at a web 2.0 layout. A lot of people really like the color combination.

Another dark layout. I enjoyed doing this one because I knocked it out pretty fast. She really liked it, and so did I.

Fictionally, EFiction fansite layout. I loved that blue color. It was bold, and I really want to work with it. It took a while because I completely re-designed the whole site, and hacked into efiction quite a bit. I love the outcome though. I tried out a lot of nifty CSS tricks.

The previous design was great, but it was also really bold, so I went for something subdued and I mostly hacked into Coppermine to get some special features added.

One of my first and more liked attempts at Coppermine. The main color, yellow, really strikes you.

Another really fast Coppermine design. The media center needed a new layout, so I gave it one.
